This is indeed encouraging news for those seeking a natural solution for diabetes.
Bitter Melon and Diabetes
Uncontrolled blood sugar levels can lead to awful damage in the body, and possibly even premature death from kidney failure or a heart attack. The phytochemicals (plant derived chemical compounds) in bitter melon offer a range of health benefits, such as effective help in the treatment of colitis, intestinal worms, and jaundice.
However, bitter melon is primarily used for its blood sugar lowering abilities in patients with type 2 diabetes. Comprehensive research and scientific evidence have proved that bitter melon is an excellent way to control blood sugar, and reduce the risk of diabetes complications.
Some precautions to bear in mind.
Check with your healthcare professional if you are considering taking bitter melon along with prescribed diabetic meds. Bitter melon is so effective and works so well, that if taken with diabetic meds, blood sugar could reach unsatisfactory low levels.

What is fenugreek?
Fenugreek benefits the body in essential ways. Fenugreek is a tall, pod-bearing herb that grows naturally in the Mediterranean countries and western Asia. The leaves are edible, but it is the seeds that are well known for their use in various medicines. Fenugreek seeds have a slightly nutty taste and are often added to spice blends which are used in curries. You can also drink fenugreek tea made from the leaves, or sprinkle powdered fenugreek over yogurt. Although fenugreek offers many other health benefits, most of the scientific studies have focused on its ability to lower blood glucose levels in diabetes sufferers.
How does fenugreek help to lower blood sugar?
Fenugreek seeds may be helpful to diabetics because of the fiber content, which are thought to slow digestion and hinder the body’s absorption of carbohydrates and sugar. The seeds may also help improve the way the body uses sugar, and increase the amount of insulin released by the pancreas.
Clinical studies have found fenugreek benefits very effective in the treatment of type 2 diabetes. As well at the same time reducing the level of LDL cholesterol.
Diabetics have a high risk of suffering cardiovascular disease, including the possibility of a heart attack, and often susceptible to serious infections. The good news is that fenugreek contains an infection-fighting compound known as galactomannan, this helps the body fight off bacterial infections.
Fenugreek also contains a high amount of potassium that counters the action of sodium in the blood, helping control the heart rate, keeping blood pressure at normal levels.
More good news is that the seeds are rich in an amino acid! This is responsible for promoting the production of insulin necessary to control the level of blood sugar.
How should I take it?
You can use fenugreek to help lower blood sugar after meals by taking supplements, adding it to your food, or drinking it as a tea.
Melabic The Sugar Stabilizer has fenugreek combined with 9 other diabetes fighting ingredients.
Is it safe to take?
Fenugreek benefits in supplements, or used in cooking, are generally considered safe. When taken in large doses, reported side effects include gas or bloating. If you have an allergy to nuts, bare in mind that fenugreek belongs to the same family as peanuts, and you could have an allergic reaction to the seeds. Modern science has revealed that fenugreek is safe and effective to help control cholesterol and help regulate blood glucose.

Do You Have Signs of High Blood Sugar?
Research results from the US Center for Disease Control and Prevention, indicate that almost a third of people who have diabetes, do not know that they have it! You could be one of those who already have diabetes, or you could be someone who is pre-diabetic, a condition that raises your risk of developing Type 2 diabetes. Here are 5 signs of high blood sugar you should know.
Your pancreas produces insulin which controls the level of blood sugar in your body. In Type 2 diabetes, your cells are resistant to insulin, which leaves much of sugar, unable to be absorbed by the cells, in your bloodstream, which impacts negatively on the pancreas, and over-works the kidneys, which then deposit large amounts of sugar-filled liquid into the bladder, leading to frequent urinating.
It is almost like being dehydrated, and you are constantly thirsty, seemingly unable to get enough to drink.
